Club of the Month
Wellington Place Boys & Girls Club
At Wellington Place Boys & Girls Club, three youth, Oscar, Dennis and Alexis are representing the Club in the Robotics Competition. This event is pulling together Club members across our Greater Dallas Club community. These youth, under the guidance of professional architects, are putting their math, science and technical skills together to build a mobile electronic robot. The competition will convene in the month of April at the Dallas Convention Center. Good Luck to all!
Club members are also avid readers in our Learning Makes Cents program. Some of our youth are involved in their school extracurricular activities such as choir, baseball and basketball and Club staff support members by attending some of their activities.
With such a wide variety of programs and activities there is something for all of our members! We have two dedicated volunteers that come on Friday and are very engaging with Triple Play activities. Wellington Place Boys & Girls Club by standard is a small Club, but we are very excited about being in the Coppell community.
