Cultural Awareness Programs

Cultural Awareness programs incorporate events year-round from cultures around the world. Events include Hispanic Heritage Month, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Black History Month, President's Day and other special celebrations. Members learn to appreciate the unique perspectives and traditions that different cultures offer. Through cultural awareness programs, young people gain an understanding and respect for children and adults from different backgrounds.
