90-Day Report
We stopped introducing ourselves.
We got to work.
Ninety days in, the story is no longer about who leads this organization. It's about what's happening inside our clubs every single day. Eight hundred and twenty kids showed up yesterday. They came for tutoring, for sports, for drone training, for a safe place to be. That's the mission. That's what this report is about.
By the Numbers
What's happening in the clubs.
Youth Voice
Our kids have
something to say.
The most powerful thing we can do is put a microphone in front of our members and let them speak. This young woman represents thousands of kids across Greater Dallas who are ready, capable, and worth investing in.
Member Stories
This is who we show up for.
Courtside at the Mavs
Club members experienced a Dallas Mavericks game up close. Moments like this expand what kids believe is possible.
Joy Is a Program Too
Easter crafts, bunny ears, cupcakes. A safe, joyful environment is not a bonus. It's foundational.
Her Voice, Her Stage
Club members speaking publicly, advocating for their communities, building confidence one moment at a time.
Program Spotlights
New programs. Real futures.
Drone Class: Rising Above
Teens 16–18 at West Dallas Club train twice weekly with Drone Operations LLC, preparing for the FAA Part 107 exam. Aviation, construction, public safety, and entertainment careers within reach.
Gael J. — FIFA World Cup Correspondent
Gael J., 12, from West Dallas Club, selected as a Carter's Correspondent for the FIFA World Cup. Press badge in hand, hoping to meet Lionel Messi along the way.
Backstage with New Edition
Seven Club teens went backstage at American Airlines Center, meeting Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, and Ralph Tresvant — all Boys & Girls Club alumni.
Dress to Dream Extravaganza
550+ dresses for teens heading to prom. Live DJ, Project Beauty demos, Comerica Bank sponsorship. No teen should miss her night because of finances.
New Partnership
Girl Scouts. Coming to our clubs.
BGCD and Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas have partnered to launch troop programming at our Oak Cliff, West Dallas, and East Dallas clubs starting April 2026. Up to 60 participants will receive membership, leadership training, and curriculum support. Girl-centered. Community-rooted. Exactly the kind of partnership NORTHSTAR 2030 is built around.
Strategic Vision
NORTHSTAR 2030. Written. Launched. Moving.
A five-priority strategic plan built in the first 90 days. Every partnership, every program, every dollar aligned to one mission: kids who thrive.
Organizational Milestones
What we built so kids get more.
Record Q1 Grant
$250,000 from Santander Bank — the largest single early-year gift in our history.
Organizational Restructure
Rebuilt for future stability. Every role aligned to mission and positioned to serve more kids better.
Monthly Impact Reporting
Replaced annual reporting with monthly data so this board leads with visibility, not guesswork.
Community Partnerships
Real commitments changing how members access healthcare, mental health, workforce training, and literacy support.
Advocacy
We took our kids to Washington.
Capitol Hill meetings with Senator Ted Cruz's office and congressional leaders. We brought a youth ambassador because the most powerful argument for this mission is letting our members speak for themselves.
Together Forward
The community is behind this mission.
Our CEO welcome reception on April 2nd brought together donors, partners, board members, and community leaders. The room was full. The energy was right.

Golf TournamentA Personal Note
This mission
is personal.
Before I was the CEO, I was a Club kid. I grew up playing basketball and football at the Boys & Girls Club of Burkburnett, Texas. These photos are me.
When I look at our 820 kids showing up every day, I see myself. That's not a talking point. That's why I took this job.
820 kids
yesterday.
Tomorrow we show up and do it again. That's the whole thing. I'm proud of what this team has built and fully committed to making the next 90 days serve even more kids, even better.
Let's go.
