National Gospel Recording Artist Kirk Franklin Features Oak Cliff Club Kids in His Latest Music

Gospel artist, songwriter, and choir director Kirk Franklin recently released a music video for his latest single “All Things” featuring Club kids from Oak Cliff Boys & Girls Club.

Franklin chose to highlight real people and places from in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, including him and the kids having fun times playing games and dancing.

The song is a message of hope and inspiration.

Kirk Franklin is a Fort Worth gospel artist, songwriter, and choir director who has been a prominent figure in the gospel music industry for over three decades. He became known for his unique blend of gospel music with elements of R&B, hip-hop, and other genres, as well as his powerful lyrics that spoke to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. One of Franklin’s most significant contributions to the gospel music industry was his role in popularizing gospel music to mainstream audiences.

Aside from his music career, Franklin is also an author, motivational speaker, and philanthropist. He has used his platform to raise awareness for social justice issues and support organizations that help underserved communities.

At the wrap of the video shoot, Franklin gifted the Oak Cliff Club with a $10,000 donation!

“We’re so grateful that our Club members had the opportunity to meet Kirk Franklin and be featured in this amazing project,” said Shayla Johnson, Director of Club Operations. “And the donation he gifted us will go a long way in helping us further our mission in the Oak Cliff community.”

We congratulate Franklin for all he has done in his career and thank him for such a generous donation!
