As a mom, I can’t help but think back to the days when my girls were younger—when Summer meant finding a delicate balance between joy and structure, freedom and safety. I remember how much it mattered to know they had somewhere to be, something to do, and, most importantly, someone who truly cared.
That’s what makes this Summer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas so special.
Right now, across our Clubs, kids are experiencing what every child deserves—laughter, discovery, encouragement, and love. Whether they’re exploring STEM projects, diving into books, shooting hoops, or simply enjoying time with friends, they’re in a place where they belong.
And most importantly, they’re safe.
Summer can be a vulnerable time for many children. When school is out, the need for care, meals, and support continues. I’m incredibly proud that BGCD continues to meet those needs with compassion and intention. Our amazing staff show up each day with open hearts and steady hands, offering not just activities, but real connection.
We’ve also deepened our focus on emotional wellness, life skills, and teen engagement this summer—thanks to incredible community partners and supporters like you. It’s all part of our commitment to not just keep kids safe today, but to help them thrive well into the future.
